Be Different...Be Bold...Change the World...
Hold fast to dreams, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly. -Langston Hughes
1. Start Small- it doesn't matter where you are in your journey of making your dream(s) a reality… [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] And when I say "Journey", I mean it… From the outside looking in, it seems as if those who are wildly successful just woke up one day and were that way…when in reality, it was almost certainly more like an extensive uphill battle that was won through strife [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and willpower. If you really do endeavor to take on your dreams, then it is sure to be a long process that will require you to take a countless [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] amount of small steps that ultimately lead you to your aspirations. If you solely keep focus on your final objective then it is too easy to get overwhelmed… take your life a day at a time, divide your dreams into several smaller objectives. This way you'll feel as if you're making continual progress and you won't get [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] overwhelmed.
2. Grow With Your [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Dreams- Your dreams should be perceived as seeds… If you tend to them properly they could be exceptionally beautiful. But if you forget to water the seeds then you'll suffer the consequences. You will fail and you will succeed…But as long as you don't let your downfalls or your victories get to your head, then you and your dreams will grow bigger than you could have ever imagined… Walt Disney always wished to be a cartoonist and after resigning from the Red Cross, that is exactly what he attempted to do. He was fairly successful, making newspaper cartoons and advertisements… However, as time progressed so did [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] his aspirations; he decided to broaden his dreams and open up his own animation business… This business was initially comprised of Walt Disney [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and his close friend Fred Harman [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and they specialized in creating animated shorts…Nevertheless, Walt's dreams yet again outgrew his surroundings and he decided [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] to open up his own studio in Hollywood… With this new studio he hoped to begin creating feature-length films. Under Walt's stern leadership, the studio produced movies such as Snow White, Bambi and Pinocchio… Which were all (obviously) exceptionally successful… Walt derived such pleasure from pleasing others that he wanted to go beyond animated entertainment… In 1955 Walt opened Disneyland in Los Angeles, which would soon become a mecca for tourists around the world… And after [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] the realized success of this first park, he planned a second… I'm sure your getting my point here…Walt never stopped dreaming… His ideas, judgment and philosophy all correspondingly grew with his dreams…
3. Pursue- Now I am, and always have been, an advocate for preaching "holding fast to dreams"… However, I'm not entirely sure that I've made it clear that I'm a bigger advocate for pursuing those dreams. Its one thing to have a dream, but to get up every day and chase [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] that dream is what's truly difficult. It's easy to get caught up in your day to day activities, all the while forgetting about the true reason you get up every morning. Don't settle for anything less than the absolute best your mind can conjure up…"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." -Walt Disney
